Sleep Scientist runs experiments on your sleep. You pick one change to test; the app measures the effect from Apple Health automatically and compares it against your own baseline.
You need sleep data in Apple Health, which usually means an Apple Watch or a sleep-tracking app. Each community study states what it requires.
Do I have to log my sleep? No. Sleep Scientist reads it from Health automatically — there's no nightly diary.
Is my data private? Personal experiments never leave your device. Community studies receive only anonymous, derived numbers. See the Privacy Policy.
What is a blinded study? To keep results unbiased, some community studies hide your group and the outcome until the study ends. You still do the activity; you just aren't told which group you're in until the finish.
Is this medical advice? No. Sleep Scientist is a wellness tool, not a medical device. If you have a sleep disorder, see a clinician.
